Designed for craftsmen, this fast drying, high quality interior oil-based stain applies easily and enhances the wood’s natural grain with its intensified depth of color and clarity. Interior use Colorant based for best uniformity of application Preferred for hardwoods, such as oak, ash, walnut, and mahogany Recommended for use on interior wood surfaces or surfaces on which the previous finish has been removed Colors are ready-made by Old Masters.  We are also able to mix gallons of most colors in our store using the Natural Tint Base - Gallon. Simply order this item and specify in the order notes which color desired. Certain "Rich" colors  such as Carbon Black, Crimson Fire, Vintage Burgundy or others cannot be made in the store due to the nature of color richness. Instead, these gallon sizes are only made by Old Masters, and may require additional time to fulfill your order. Formulated with imported carnauba, the hardest natural wax known to man. Provides outstanding durability while enhancing the beauty of floors, furniture and woodwork. Where to UsePaste Wax is recommended for use on interior, wood surfaces it adds beauty and luster to furniture, and woodwork. Surface PreparationAll surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dirt, wax, grease, glue, and other contaminants. ApplicationApply wax evenly with a clean, lint-free cloth. A thin coating produces the best results. Allow wax to dry thoroughly before polishing. On newly refinished surfaces, a second application is recommended. ThinningDo not thin. Use as packaged. CoverageApproximately 1,600 square feet per gallon depending upon method of application and the type and porosity of wood. Drying TimeApply when air and surface temperatures are between 60° and 90°F and humidity is between 30% and 70%. At 50% relative humidity and 70°F, Paste Wax will dry in approximately 15 to 30 minutes. CleanupUsing a cleaning solvent, such as paint thinner or mineral spirits, is recommended for cleanup. The use of paint thinners or mineral spirits may violate VOC compliancy in your area. Check with your local government agencies to ensure proper compliancy.
