Description
Romabio EcoForte Primer-Hardener is a zero-odor, bio-based concentrate of potassium silicate that is mixed with water on the project site. It serves as mineral hardener, clear coat protective solution to extend the life of Romabio Classico Limewash patina on high-traffic horizontal surfaces or erosive areas.
Applied directly onto brick, EcoForte Prier-Hardener can help protect against spalding, particularly on low-fired brick, consolidating the brick surface and providing water resistance simultaneously. It is historically known as water glass or liquid glass. When applied to an unpainted mineral surface it forms a chemical reaction with the substrate essentially reinforcing and strengthening the inherent mineral aspects of brick, stone and most cements.
