Found this awesome product that can be used over old lacquer cabinet finishes...sometimes without using a primer! That's right, you can simply prep by lightly sanding and the EVO will adhere great. We can brush or roll it...but we can also spray it inside the home for a kitchen cabinet refinish. The best part is that dries in an hour so we can do a 2nd coat...finishing the whole job in a day. And it looks about as close to lacquer as you can get...but you really cannot spray lacquer in somebody's home :)
