Description
We make these custom colored spray cans right in our paint stores for our local customers every week.
Custom spray paint provides many options for your paint project! Why settle for limited selection of colors at the Big Box stores when you get the exact color & sheen you need? Once you have made your selection(s), our paint store experts prepare your color, load your spray can(s) & ship your order.
1. Select your Color
2. Paint Matching: if you cannot find a color in any fan deck, then we have a state of the art color spectrometer. This is a highly specialized camera that allows us to develop a formula to match most any sample you would like to send us.
3. Select application area: Interior or Exterior use
4. Select your Sheen
- Interior: Flat, Matte, Eggshell, Satin, or Semi-Gloss
- Exterior: Flat, Low-Luster, Soft-Gloss
- Advance Trim & Cabinet: Satin, Semi-Gloss, or High Gloss
Application: This product is considered a finish topcoat. While the product used from Benjamin Moore is considered a "paint & primer" quality, we always recommend using a suitable Interior-Exterior Spray Primer, especially over uncoated or metal surfaces. Also, the Benjamin Moore Advance (water-based alkyd) will have a more durable, enamel-type finish. The Satin and Semi-Gloss for Advance are interior only. The high-gloss can be used in an exterior environment.
Coverage: It is difficult to provide an accurate estimate given conditions of the environment or the application. One (1) spray can may cover 4-8sf.
Order Includes: custom color paint required to make up to ten (10) spray cans
Spray cans are a custom blended product and are not returnable. Please understand that aerosols can only ship via ground shipping, so please plan accordingly.
Disclaimer: Marketplace Paints uses Benjamin Moore paints to create or match selected color(s). We also use a custom Allpro branded spray can from Seymour of Sycamore. We match spray paints to a color card or fan deck in our store. There may be a difference with color matching depending on the specific paint product, application method, gloss level, film variance, surface substrate, age and light source.
Matching colors to paint on a wall, trim or cabinet may not match exactly due to a customer's age of paint, condition of the substrate, or the inherent difference between the way different paint companies blend their paints.
We do accept samples mailed into the store. We recommend sending us a very good sample of at least 1"x1" that we can put under our camera matching software in order to get a better match.
