I used the satin waterbase on a outdoor ceiling. The wood was dry and the humidity was good. The product was applied according to the instructions on the can. The first and only coat came out milky and splotchy. Gave it three days to clear up. The only answer to fix the problem per two differnt paint stores was to sand and reapply. I decided to sand and then use a better product oil based. Seems like this may work better for indoors only or just not at all. Time is money and I wasted alot of time using this product in the first place.
